SafetyNet CAD Radio Interfaces
The SafetyNet CAD Radio Interface displays the unit, name, radio ID, and
channel/talk group on the CAD workstation every time a PTT is pressed.
In addition, the interface offers the dispatcher the ability to control
an officer's radio, such as changing its talk group.
Emergency Alert buttons are another key officer safety feature of SafetyNet
CAD Radio Interfaces. When an officer presses the Emergency Alert button
on his radio the SafetyNet CAD Radio Interface automatically notifies
all SafetyNet CAD positions.
The SafetyNet CAD Radio Interface collection supports a variety of radio
systems. Implemented interfaces include Motorola's System Data Logger,
System Information Processor, MDC-1200, Centracom II or ll+ CEB with analog
or digital Astro radios, and SmartZone trunked radio systems.
